Car options

With LDC you have a wide choice of vehicle that you can use for your LDC driving school.

Use your own car (if suitable) or rent or buy a car. With LDC you can purchase a new car at significant discounts (up to 38% off), thus you can be assured of keeping your car costs to a minimum. Indeed, the saving you could make by purchasing a new car from us could easily cover the weekly franchise fees for the whole year and then some.

Fully maintained car rental examples

Below are just a few of the many deals and vehicles acquired by LDC driving school operators.

The main benefits of a typical dual car rental service include:

  • Fully maintained and serviced
  • Road tax paid
  • Breakdown cover
  • Worn tyre replacement
  • Back up car to keep you teaching
  • Generous mileage allowances
  • Early contract get-out for trainees

The above figures are based on a typical car rental contract. Please note a refundable damage deposit and administration set up fee would also be required. Fully maintained new car rentals can start from as little as £95 per week inclusive of VAT.

Unique to LDC is the option to choose the type of car you want to drive as long as it is suitable for the job and the image we want to project. Any car that you do obtain will have your own name, telephone number and website address incorporated into the standard LDC driving school car livery to help generate more work straight to you. A good looking well presented car with an effective car livery will generate about 20% of all new customer leads especially if there are several LDC driving school operators in any particular area. The more LDC cars in the area the more effective this form of advertising is.

Driving school franchise rescue

If you are tied into an expensive franchise and in debt we will do our best to help you escape or if you have to wait for contractual reasons we will help you plan your escape. Don’t worry we get asked to do this all the time. Please be aware many ‘big brother’ franchises will have a clause in their agreement which gives them the right to approach your customers with a view to transferring them to other instructors in their network once you let them know you are leaving or you are required to give 3 months notice or more during which time no more pupils will be supplied. This is the main reason why you are required to provide all your customer details to the driving school – this is not the case with the LDC – all your pupils whether they came through LDC or not are your customers not ours. Before you give notice to leave let us help you to make sure you take all your customers with you.
